Study on the state of knowledge and expectations regarding the development of European Union climate policy tools performed within the LIFE VIIEW 2050 project implemented by the Institute of Environmental Protection - National Research Institute
Pursuant to Article 13(1)-(2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27.04.2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (Official Journal of the EU L 119, p. 1) - hereinafter ‘RODO’ - The Institute for Environmental Protection-State Research Institute (hereinafter: ‘IOŚ-PIB’), as the Controller of personal data, informs:
I. The Administrator of the personal data is the IOŚ-PIB with its registered office in Warsaw, 32 Słowicza Street, 02-170 Warsaw, entered into the register of entrepreneurs kept by the District Court for the City of Warsaw in Warsaw, XIV Economic Division of the National Court Register under the KRS number 0000032034. The Director of the Institute acts on behalf of the IOŚ-PIB.
II. Contact to the Data Protection Inspector (hereinafter: ‘DPO’) at IOŚ-PIB: iodo@ios.edu.pl.
III. Personal data will be collected on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) - consent of the data subject, to the extent that you agree to participate in the survey and provide your data, Article 6(1)(f) - necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller, to the extent that we will contact you on matters relating to the survey.
The provision of data is voluntary, but necessary in view of your participation in the survey carried out by the National Centre for Balancing and Emissions Management on the LIFE VIIEW 2050 project under the agreement with the European Commission (Contract No. LIFE19 GIC/PL/001205 - LIFE VIIEW 2050, dated. 18.11.2020) for co-financing of tasks carried out in the public interest by the National Centre referred to in Article 3(2)(10)(k), (r), (s), (t) of the Act of 17 July 2009 on the greenhouse gas and other substances emission management system.
The personal data provided will be necessary for repeating the survey process on the same group of respondents in order to evaluate the results of the survey.
IV. The following recipients of the data may have access to the personal data:
1. persons directly involved in the implementation of the LIFE VIIEW 2050 project,
2. public administration bodies entitled to obtain such information on the basis of legal provisions, including administrative bodies of EU Member States,
3. entities involved in the implementation of the Administrator's statutory activities, external entities providing and supporting the IOŚ-PIB IT systems, entities providing services related to the current activities of the IOŚ-PIB - while ensuring that the aforementioned entities apply adequate technical and organisational measures to ensure data protection,
4. the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, as an entity with which the agreement on co-financing the Project was concluded,
5. the European Commission, pursuant to the funding agreement (Contract No. LIFE19 GIC/PL/001205 - LIFE VIIEW 2050, dated 18.11.2020).
V. The categories of personal data processed are the data in the ordinary data category, according to the survey form: identification and contact details.
VI. The controller informs you that it does not intend to transfer data to a third country or to an international organisation. The controller may transfer data to the European Commission.
VII. Personal data will be kept until the end of the LIFE VIIEW 2050 project, its settlement and its sustainability period, not less than i.e. 31 December 2028.
VIII. In accordance with Articles 7, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21 of the RODO, unless otherwise provided in the RODO, you have the right to:
1. access to and obtain a copy of your data and to rectify (amend), erase, restrict processing, the right to object to the data being processed;
2. withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing performed on the basis of your consent prior to its withdrawal
3. to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the RODO.
IX. There is no automated decision-making or profiling as referred to in Article 22(1) and (4) of the RODO.
