Registration to the LIFE ENSPIRE Workshop: Carbon Pricing: Challenges for the EU and EU neighbourhood

LIFE ENSPIRE project

Dear Colleagues,

it is our pleasure to invite you to the first LIFE ENSPIRE workshop.

The meeting will be held online on June 17th, 2025, at 11:00 - 12:15 (CET).

This online workshop is the first in a series of events organised by the LIFE ENSPIRE project - a new initiative supporting the development of climate policy
instruments in Poland, the EU and the EU neighbouring countries. The event will explore the current landscape and future challenges of climate policy in the EU and beyond, with a focus on policy alignment, cross-border cooperation, and the role of carbon pricing and emissions trading systems. This first
workshop will bring together policy makers, experts, and stakeholders from Poland, the EU and EU Candidate Countries to discuss the current state and future prospects of carbon pricing in the region.

The LIFE ENSPIRE project is coordinated by the CAKE/KOBiZE team at the Institute of Environmental Protection - National Research Institute (IOS-PIB). It aims to strengthen knowledge, analytical capacity, and policy development on climate and energy issues in Poland, the EU and selected non-EU countries, with a particular focus on carbon pricing mechanisms and international cooperation.

Feel free to forward this invitation once you think someone may be interested in the subject.

You are kindly welcome to register here and we will provide you with a link to the meeting before its date.
